The batteries are valve regulated and spill-proof making them completely safe to handle. They do not require adding electrolyte, as the gases generated during charging are recombined internally in a unique oxygen cycle. The batteries are capable of operating in any position and have a low self-discharge rate, extending their shelf life. They are a drop-in replacement for lead VRLA, gel and AGM batteries in most applications.
Designed in a standard rally casing, the battery is suitable for use in all conditions. Unlike lead-acid, this lithium battery has quadruple the energy density of an equivalent lead-acid battery and can be used in parallel with up to 4 units of the same model. The batteries are equipped with an intelligent battery management system (BMS), offering high-level safety, long life and fast-charging performance. The BMS embeds smart balancing algorithms to control all cell voltages in the battery, optimizing battery capacity.
Canbat batteries are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 10 years from the date of purchase. If a battery is determined to be defective by Canbat upon inspection, the customer will receive a new battery at no cost.
